Yahoo makes its Local Search more handy and social. Such new features as a possibility to create and share the “collections” of your local favorites, group the list you created by “ best” and “worst” were added to Yahoo Local. Besides now users can easily upload photos to Local as well as save other people photos to their collections.

Along with the features mentioned Yahoo Local gives its user an option whether to leave his collections private or to make social, whether to share them with publicity or not.

It looks like people opinion gets better trust when automated mathematical algorithms and social search get more and more popularity. Yahoo is on the right way to leadership – good for them!
