While deciding to do a mass bid update this morning, a member of our team noticed something awry within the Yahoo Search Marketing interface (DTC)…usually the menu features a “Bid to Position” option, now it is “Bid to Influence Position” - this was on content match bids.
We are guessing the rollout to the new bid platform (long rumored to be “Panama) has just begun. Bid Rank, (presumed to be CPC) x Click-Through Rate = “listing’s position” (Ad Rank). No longer does CPC solely influence your positioning, just like Google.

I don’t know what’s beyond the link. I click it, but the system just stays still. The DTC is slooooooowwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
