As per the recent news on Google Earth, Google is all set to new version of Google Earth 4.0 with various new features and localization with Linux support. Google Earth user interface is now localized in various languages like French, Italian, German, and Spanish along with local search and geographical intuitive directions.

Google Earth has will also have an increased coverage area along with much better resolution images. Google also is implementing a unique information layer for newly supported countries - similar to the OpenLayers Geo Maps project?.

We can expect more updates by end of this year as they are working hard to bring better results and cover the entire globe with all possible information in a single click!
