Microsoft AdCenter Expands on Contextual Advertising

Some Internet advertisers might have already received the email notification from Microsoft AdCenter support team about the launch of the content advertising pilot program. Recently the upgrade was announced on AdCenter Blog also.

So from now and on AdCenter advertisers have an option of expanding their campaigns to Content network. Similar to Google and Yahoo content networks AdCenter users can publish their ads on other then search sites with the only difference that only MSN published sites (no third-party sites) are included, i.e. MSN’s Health & Fitness, Tech & Gadgets, Travel, and Money.

With MSN’s Contextual Advertising Program the options for a campaign are given to advertisers who’s accounts are upgraded:

· Hybrid to run ads both on Live Search and content pages (with the possibility to separate bid pricing).
· Content Ads Turned off.
· Content-only/search only ad groups.

We consider this is good news that MSN is expanding their AdCenter functionality to give the advertised wider range of choices!
